These are just small things that really are not a big deal. The only things I would change would be the sliding glass door needs a handle on the outside so you don't get stuck on the balcony, I'd like to see a clothesline either on the balcony or in the bathroom so you can hang your bathingsuits to dry, and lastly, I'd like to see a few palapas on the beach in front of the Rendezvous bar. Don't go to Cozumel if you're looking for sweet smells ( I heard someone complain about the smell of fish- duh! You're on the ocean!!!). Take your watershoes!!! And as far as the smell goes, the island is a mangrove swamp, so the smell is everywhere. Loved the beach and for those I heard complaining about the rocks- it's coral people, and the island is surrounded by reefs which is why most people go there. The food was great most of the time, but Mexico is not the place to order a steak! (the one I got was basically inedible, but the sauce was good!).The buffet was consistently good so we chose that for most meals but we also enjoyed the food at the Bordeaux, Oceana, and Barefoot Grill. Special mention goes to Jesus at the Skybar, Martincel at the Market Café, Adela, Isabel, and Adriana for beach bar service, and Roger in the lobby. We have stayed at several all-inclusives, and by far, the Aura has the best staff. The staff are absolutely the best with smiles and helpful info at all times. Just returned from a great week at the Secrets Aura.
